Little Acorn Rules

Children enrolled in the Little Acorns program are asked to be accompanied by an adult or golf professional while using the facilities. While using the facilities please remember the following:

ü       No child without a valid driver’s license is allowed to operate a golf car.

ü       Proper golf etiquette must be used at all times. The golf professional’s have the right to protect the other participants and the golf course. This may mean excusing your child from activities.

ü       Soft spikes or tennis shoes must be worn – please no sandals or other sport cleats.

ü      Smile and have fun!

Sunday Fun Day

As a parent/guardian of a Little Acorn, we would like to give something back to you. Each Sunday after 3:30 pm parents may play golf at the normal rate. Parents will be allowed to bring their Little Acorn(s) with them at no charge. Groups are limited to four players, and one adult must play in the group.

This is our gift to you to help promote and provide an invitation to an inexpensive way for families to enjoy our great facility and spend time together. Please be sure to call ahead and make a starting reservation. This offer will run from June 27th through August 8th.

Parental Involvement

Parental/Guardian involvement is key to the success of the program. The Oaks staff will never ask you to help teach one of the Little Acorn participants, we will simply ask you to aide in our goal of providing a safe atmosphere for all to participate. Parents or guardians of the children participating in the Little Acorns program will be asked to volunteer for two to three sessions of the Little Acorns program.

Please circle three or four dates that you would possibly be able to help when submitting payment. Volunteers will be provided use of a golf car to assist in escorting and supervising the Little Acorns as they venture onto the golf course. Please circle volunteer dates you would be available on Sign-up form "B," under the signature line. Please note, we will be sending an email confirming volunteer dates.
