A Course Designed With Golfers in Mind

The Oaks Golf Course, playing 5,615 to 6,763 yards, combines creative bunkering, wide fairway landing areas and uniquely-sloped greens to provide golfers with a best-in-class experience. The par-71 course includes six varied par 3s mixed with five par 5s and seven, rather than the standard 12, par 4s. Bent grass fairways, tees and greens are complemented by more than 250 mature oak trees scattered throughout the property for stunning, picturesque views while you play.

The golf industry has witnessed remarkable growth and transformation, but little has changed in the game itself. Golf is about golfers and the wondrous places we play – the simple interaction of man and nature with friends, family or competitors. Our goal is to make that interaction remarkable.

Meet Our Course Architect – Greg Martin

With more than 25 years of experience in golf course architecture, Greg Martin has worked on a wide range of renovation and new construction projects for public, private, daily fee and residential golf course communities. Martin believes in promoting a style that balances the unique environmental qualities of the site with the client’s specific needs.

He has traveled to Ireland and Scotland studying and playing many of the most revered and distinguished golf links – such as Ballybunion, Old and New, The Old Course at St. Andrews, Prestwick, Western Gailes and Turnberry. These experiences were instrumental in developing Martin’s understanding of golf history and his design philosophy.

In addition to golf projects, he has experience with land planning and landscape architecture for large residential communities, regional parks, recreation-based projects and urban design.
